Kurt’s Earth Jars are inspired by textures and forms found in nature. Using porcelain for its traditional white body, Kurt has focused on using a multitude of techniques to create his pit fired forms. Kurt finishes his Earth jars in fire, using locally sourced fell wood and driftwood. Organic materials add flashes of colour, creating a sustainable and more eco friendly way to create high quality ceramic art.
